Plot

The film tells about the years when the Greeks occupied Izmir. Azize is a mother who takes care of three children alone during wartime in the absence of her husband. Her husband is a captain of the Turkish troops. She and Cevdet have two daughters, Yildiz and Hilal, and a son, Ali Kemal.
