Plot

A truly amazing, fantastical, science fiction, funny and odd, and sometimes scary, sad and endearing anthology series presented by Steven Spielberg with guest appearances by many famous actors, actresses, and directors.

The genres varied from story to story, including fantasy, horror, mystery, science fiction and thriller; and could be comedy or dramatic; but always "Amazing". The series borrowed the title from the 1926 magazine "Amazing Stories"; that is an American science fiction magazine launched in April 1926 by Hugo Gernsback's Experimenter Publishing. It was the first magazine devoted solely to science fiction. Science fiction stories had made regular appearances in other magazines, including some published by Gernsback, but Amazing helped define and launch a new genre of pulp fiction.
