Plot

Jesus and María are a couple going through a difficult time in their relationship. Nevertheless, they have just become parents. To shape their new life, they decide to buy a new coffee table. A decision that will change their existence.

Jesús and María are adjusting to life with their infant son, Cayetano, while their already fragile relationship continues to fray. After an argument over household decisions, Jesús insists on buying an expensive glass coffee table despite María's objections. Back at their apartment, problems with the furniture arise during assembly. Left alone with Cayetano while María shops for visiting relatives, Jesús faces a devastating accident that transforms an ordinary afternoon into a crisis. As family members arrive and tensions mount, he struggles to keep control while suspicion, interruptions, and mounting pressure threaten to expose the truth.
