Plot

A thief fresh out of prison, tries to work his way back into the life of his daughter and ex-fiancé. Determined, he is forced to use the skills he has as a gifted locksmith. Things take a tumultuous turn after an unexpected disappearance.

After serving time for a botched burglary attempt that cost his best friend and accomplice Kevin his life, lock-pick Miller Graham is trying to lead a stable, law-abiding life. With a temporary job working for his mentor Frank, Miller hopes to win back his ex-partner Beth and their daughter Lindsay. But when Miller unexpectedly runs into Kevin's sister April - who has fallen into prostitution - and she persuades him to commit another theft, his good intentions go out the window. After April disappears without a trace shortly thereafter, Miller clashes with the corrupt police officer Zwick, who is also responsible for Kevin's death. The lock-picker receives unexpected support from Beth, who works at the same precinct as Zwick and is investigating her own colleagues in a case involving an illegal sex trafficking ring. Together, Miller, Beth, and Lindsay find themselves in the line of fire, without realizing who they're really up against.
