Plot

As a heat wave brings a Marseille neighborhood to a boil, three roommates gleefully meddle in the lives of their neighbors from their balcony. Until a late night drink turns into a bloody affair.

It's a summer heatwave in Marseille, and best friends Ruby, Élise, and Nicole are just trying to live their best lives. But when they're attacked by a neighbor, an act of self-defense leads to them trying to hide his body. Unfortunately, his ghost won't stop bothering them. Gloriously gory and funny, The Balconettes is a gleefully original slice of feminist film.
