Plot

In this wildly entertaining vision of one of the twentieth century’s greatest artists, Bob Dylan is surrounded by teen fans, gets into heated philosophical jousts with journalists, and kicks back with fellow musicians Joan Baez, Donovan, and Alan Price.

Filmed during Bob Dylan's 1965 tour of England, this landmark documentary from D.A. Pennebaker captures the legendary songwriter at a turning point, as fame begins trying to define him. Observed onstage, backstage, and in unforgettable encounters with the press, Dylan emerges as an artist determined to remain entirely himself.
