Plot

Toni Chichiarelli arrives in Rome with the dream of becoming a painter, but his talent leads him elsewhere — from art galleries to state secrets. Between art, crime, and power, his signature ends up everywhere — even in the history of Italy.

Rome, 1970s. Toni arrives in the capital with few certainties: an exceptional talent for painting and the ambition to emerge as an artist. But the feverish city, his unstoppable thirst for life, and his entanglement with political and criminal events transform him into Italy's most skilled forger, destined to enter the darkest recesses of national news and become an ambiguous and complex figure, suspended between the seductions of art, deception and power.
