Plot

Archaeologist Rick O'Connell travels to China, pitting him against an emperor from the 2,000-year-old Han dynasty who's returned from the dead to pursue a quest for world domination. This time, O'Connell enlists the help of his wife and son to quash the so-called 'Dragon Emperor' and his abuse of supernatural power.

Rick O'Connell lives a life of quiet desperation; his defining vice is an insatiable hunger for the adrenaline of the hunt. When the chance to deliver a diamond to China arises; he seizes it to escape the suffocating domesticity of a grand estate. His arrogance leads him to trust the wrong allies; fueling a betrayal that spills the blood of the innocent. This vital essence awakens a dormant tyrant; a monster shaped by stone and elemental fury. Rick must choose between his ego and the survival of his family as the Emperor marches toward immortality. The cost of his hesitation is a blade through the chest; forcing a shattered family to gamble their very souls.
