Plot

After three years of therapy Charley Brewster, now a college student, is convinced that Jerry Dandridge was a serial killer posing as a vampire. But when Regine, a mysterious actress and her entourage move into Peter Vincent's apartment block, the nightmare starts again - and this time it's personal!

Three years after the horrifying events in Fright Night (1985) and countless therapy sessions, Charley Brewster has finally come to terms with the traumatic incident that scarred his adolescence. Desperate to convince himself that the undead creatures of the night were only figments of his imagination, Charley severs ties with Peter Vincent, his former vampire-slaying companion. However, when mysterious actress Regine Dandrige arrives in town with her eccentrics in tow, Charley's buried past suddenly comes back with a vengeance. Is history repeating itself?
