Plot

Moscow, second half of the 19th century. The brilliant lawyer Plevako is at the very peak of his fame. Only he can win in court in five minutes, win a dispute, or turn an obviously hopeless case in his favor. Plevako is vain, brave and considers himself invulnerable, carelessly acquiring powerful enemies. But while he continues to shine in court, he becomes increasingly entangled in his own life. When his world begins to collapse, he will have to defend himself. Each season of the series reveals new facets of complex human relationships, immersing the viewer in an unpredictable world of intrigue, secrets and emotional experiences. The characters develop throughout the story, facing dramatic challenges and making life-changing decisions. The high level of cinematography, well-developed script and atmosphere make this series an ideal choice for an exciting marathon of episodes.
