Plot

Rachel Watson, devastated by her recent divorce, spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.

Rachel Watson clings to the wreckage of her identity by self-medicating with cheap vodka and voyeurism. Her daily transit offers a window into a life she no longer possesses, fixating on a neighborhood blonde who represents everything Rachel has lost. This obsession curdles into a frantic, disjointed nightmare when she witnesses a perceived betrayal. Driven by a surge of righteous, drunken fury, she descends into a mental fog that swallows the events of a single, violent evening. She awakens battered and stained with blood. Haunted by the void in her memory and the news of a local disappearance, Rachel weaponizes her own instability, choosing to trust her fractured instincts over the terrifying reality of her mounting cognitive rot.
