Plot

When her boyfriend dumps Emily, a spontaneous woman in her 30s, she persuades her ultra-cautious mom to accompany her on a vacation to Ecuador. When these two very different women are trapped on this wild journey, their bond as mother and daughter is tested and strengthened while they attempt to navigate the jungle and escape.

Freshly dumped by her musician boyfriend the same day she gets fired from her job, rudderless thirtysomething Emily Middleton finds herself with two non-refundable tickets to Ecuador. Unwilling to lose the trip of a lifetime, she turns to the only person left to accompany her: her idiosyncratic, phobic, cat-loving mother Linda. The dream holiday soon turns into an Equatorial nightmare when the mother/daughter duo gets conned and abducted in broad daylight. To stay alive, scaredy-cat Linda and impulsive Emily need to set aside their differences and navigate through dense jungle thickets. Can they make it happen?
