Plot
A man without attachments or responsibilities suddenly finds himself with an abandoned baby and leaves for London to try and find the mother. Eight years later after he and his daughter become inseparable Gloria's mother reappears.
Samuel parties hard in the Marseille area of France until he is awakened one morning by a woman carrying a baby she claims is his. She drives off, leaving him with a wailing infant; he gives chase to London, where he finds work and raises Gloria by himself. Years later, the mother returns.
