Plot
Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie met in Cambridge in the early 1980s. Laurie was looking for a partner to work on a pantomime in a student theater. Fry saw himself more as a lone writer. Laurie was and remains a lean loach with sharp eyes and a sardonic grin, Fry is a phlegmatic person prone to obesity, whose absent-minded smile is ready to give way to the grimace of a spoiled child. Laurie became a great artist, burdened with many international awards. Fry is an equally eminent writer. Each season of the series reveals new facets of complex human relationships, immersing the viewer in an unpredictable world of intrigue, secrets and emotional experiences. The characters develop throughout the story, facing dramatic challenges and making life-changing decisions. The high level of cinematography, well-developed script and atmosphere make this series an ideal choice for an exciting marathon of episodes.
