Plot

Dr. Steven Murphy is a renowned cardiovascular surgeon who presides over a spotless household with his wife and two children. Lurking at the margins of his idyllic suburban existence is Martin, a fatherless teen who insinuates himself into the doctor's life in gradually unsettling ways.

Following the untimely death of his father on the operating table, 16-year-old Martin forms an unexpected bond with Dr Steven Murphy, a respected cardiothoracic surgeon. However, vague yet unsettling feelings overshadow the orphaned teenager's intentions. And then, everything unravels when merciless punishment hits too close to home. Now, innocents must suffer. As the sins of the father weigh heavily on the entire family, only an unbearable decision can purge the soul--one that demands pure sacrifice. But to find catharsis, one must first admit the sin.
