Plot

A Chinese secret agent travels to Hong Kong to reclaim a dinosaur fossil but experiences hilarious incidents because of his incompetence.

When a Tyrannosaurus rex skull vanishes from a guarded military warehouse, Commander Chan pulls a dusty file from the disposal pile and reactivates Ling Ling Chat, a rural butcher who has spent a decade drinking martinis and wielding a cleaver. Armed with a solar torch that needs a second light source and an attaché case that becomes a stool, Ling Ling Chat arrives in Hong Kong and mistakes a dog for his contact before meeting Lee Heung Kam, a gun collector with orders to kill him. As he adopts spy mannerisms, practices Bond poses, and promises three white roses, Heung Kam's attempts on his life keep misfiring, including one weapon that wounds her own shoulder. Their uneasy partnership points toward smuggler Lai Yau Wai's cocktail party, where Metal Mouth and a flame-throwing Mystery Woman crash the gathering with guns blazing.
