Plot

A female forensic psychiatrist discovers that all of one of her patient's multiple personalities are murder victims. She will have to find out what's happening before her time is finished.

Forensic psychiatrist Cara Jessop has built her career on disproving multiple personality syndrome as real science. Her father, also a doctor, brings her a patient who shatters that certainty: a young man cycling through distinct identities, each one matching a documented murder victim. Cara follows the evidence into Appalachian hollows and forgotten case files, her skepticism eroding as the boundaries between psychological disorder and something far older blur. The film wants to be a procedural and a ghost story simultaneously.
