Plot

The documentary series is dedicated to the story of the most dramatic pages in the history of astronautics. The film will talk about the difficulties that flight beyond the Earth's atmosphere entails, about the present and near future of astronautics. Space exploration is described in the context of a rocket and space “race” between states: at the first stage between the USSR and Germany, at the second - between the USSR and the USA. The film debunks the myths associated with the popular understanding of the history of astronautics, names forgotten names, and analyzes the technical and organizational problems that rocketry designers faced and successfully overcome. Each season of the series reveals new facets of complex human relationships, immersing the viewer in an unpredictable world of intrigue, secrets and emotional experiences. The characters develop throughout the story, facing dramatic challenges and making life-changing decisions. The high level of cinematography, well-developed script and atmosphere make this series an ideal choice for an exciting marathon of episodes.
