Plot

Gurus in the late Goryeo dynasty try to obtain a fabled, holy sword, and humans in 2022 hunt down an alien prisoner that is locked in a human's body. The two parties cross paths when a time-traveling portal opens up.

A robotic guardian maintains a stoic watch over hidden prisoners; he views humanity as a biological cage rather than a species worth saving. When a rogue entity triggers a systemic breach, the guard flees into the past to preserve a child. He settles into a quiet existence defined by cautious observation until the time-line ruptures. A young woman armed with a pistol emerges in the fourteenth century; she chases a legendary sword that promises absolute power. Desperation drives her to exploit the confusion of local mages. She relies on her knowledge of future mechanics to outmaneuver supernatural foes. The cost is a total collapse of temporal stability that threatens both eras.
