Plot

When his anarchist friend is killed trying to assassinate Mussolini, Tunin decides it's up to him to finish the job. While visiting a brothel, he meets a prostitute named Salome, who agrees to help, as her former boyfriend was also killed by Mussolini. They enlist the aid of another prostitute and hatch an elaborate plan, but as the fateful day quickly approaches, the women have second thoughts.

Determined to continue where his friend left off, freckled peasant anarchist Tunin arrives in Rome intending to assassinate Benito Mussolini. Under those circumstances, the resolute idealist will be welcome in the town's first-rate brothel as the cousin of his contact, devoted revolutionary Salomè, who works there as a prostitute. Things soon get complicated when Tunin falls in love with one of the girls, Tripolina, and hovers on the verge of failure, torn between ideals and passion. Will the love-smitten patriot succeed in his cause?
