Plot

An Icelandic couple live with their herd of sheep on a beautiful but remote farm. When they discover a mysterious newborn on their land, they decide to keep it and raise it as their own. This unexpected development and the prospects of a new family brings them much joy before ultimately destroying them.

In the seclusion of Iceland's breathtakingly beautiful landscape, Maria and Ingvar raise sheep. They lead a simple life, close to nature. Until one night, something strange happens in their barn: a sheep gives birth to a mysterious creature, which the couple raise as their own child and name Ada. However, this family joy, welcomed with deep happiness, is soon put to the test - because Mother Nature is full of surprises.
