Plot

In 1926, Newt Scamander arrives at the Magical Congress of the United States of America with a magically expanded briefcase, which houses a number of dangerous creatures and their habitats. When the creatures escape from the briefcase, it sends the American wizarding authorities after Newt, and threatens to strain even further the state of magical and non-magical relations.

New York City, 1926. Newt Scamander, a passionate British magizoologist, arrives in the city carrying a mysterious leather suitcase—home to an extraordinary collection of rare magical creatures. But dark forces stir in the shadows, threatening the fragile peace between the magical and non-magical worlds. When a mix-up causes Newt's precious beasts to escape into the streets of Manhattan, he is thrown into a world of chaos and intrigue. As an unstoppable, destructive entity tears through the city and dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald's threat looms large, the stakes are higher than ever. With his escaping animals on the loose and New York's fate hanging by a thread, can Newt track down his fantastic beasts before all-out war breaks out?
