Facing a series of complex murder cases, new police commander Hélène Bach must learn to work with the brilliant yet exasperating Raphaël, who can make the dead speak like no-one else. The most talented forensic pathologist of his generation, Raphaël has it all - he is charming, handsome and intelligent, both fascinating and infuriating in equal measure. Irreverent and mischievous, he lives life to the fullest often in defiance of norms and conventions. This presents a major challenge for Hélène, a busy mother and the newest member of the Criminal Brigade, who will have to collaborate with this extraordinary personality if they are to solve murders that will drag them into the realm of death.
