Plot
When an insidious supernatural force edges its way into a seemingly straightforward investigation into the gruesome murder of a young boy, it leads a seasoned cop and an unorthodox investigator to question everything they believe in.
A young boy is found brutally murdered in a small Georgia town. The police quickly arrest the man they are convinced committed the crime, local teacher Terry Maitland. Their case is based on a wealth of evidence, including witnesses, that put him at the scene at the time of the murder. However, Maitland's lawyer finds evidence that puts Maitland in a distant location at exactly the same time. How is it possible for Terry Maitland to be in two places at once?
