Plot

Angsty Syd navigates high school awkwardness, family drama and an unrequited crush on her best friend while trying to rein in her budding superpowers.

This centers on Sydney, a sardonic 17-year-old coping with the problems of adolescence. Sydney finds out she has telekinetic abilities on top of dealing with high school drama, family strife following her father's passing, and a crush on her best friend Dina. When her emotions spiral out of control, these powers come to the surface, sometimes with unexpected and potentially harmful results. Sydney confides in her neighbor Stanley, who ends up being her unlikely confidante, as she attempts to comprehend and manage her powers. Sydney struggles with her sexuality and the intricacies of her family life as they investigate the source of her abilities together.
