Plot

Mason Storm, a 'go it alone' cop, is gunned down at home. The intruders kill his wife, and think they've killed both Mason and his son too. Mason is secretly taken to a hospital where he spends several years in a coma. His son meanwhile is growing up thinking his father is dead. When Mason wakes up, everyone is in danger - himself, his son, his best friend, his nurse - but most of all those who arranged for his death

1983. Having rock-solid evidence of political corruption, LAPD Detective Mason Storm has caught unwanted attention from the mob and its political supporters. With corrupt officers monitoring his every step, Storm soon invites violence into his home when hired assassins decimate his family and leave him for dead. But in 1990, seven years after the life-changing incident, resilient Storm miraculously recovers from a deep coma. However, blood demands justice, and Storm still has loose ends to tie up. As Mason picks up where he left off, not even an army of thugs can deny him the opportunity to get even. After all, who fears death when they are already dead?
