Plot
August 1941. The border service dog breeding school finds itself on the front line. Along with the military, civilians also come under attack: doctor Kira and her little daughter Lisa. The commander of the border school, Shevtsov, understands that the forces are unequal and tries to send Kira, with whom he is secretly in love, and her daughter Lisa, to the rear. Party worker Polyakov comes to pick them up at the border school; he is Lisa’s father. But all plans are disrupted due to the rapid advance of the Nazis. Now the detachment is forced to leave fighting. Shevtsov saves Kira, Lisa and Polyakov, but the border school is forced to take on an unequal battle in order to give time to evacuate the nearby city. Young and inexperienced border guards, together with their dogs, will stand in the way of German tanks. Rifles and fangs against armor and machine guns.
