Plot

Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau is dead. At least that is what the world—and Charles Dreyfus—believe when a dead body is discovered in Clouseau's car after being shot off the road. Naturally, Clouseau knows differently and, taking advantage of not being alive, sets out to discover why an attempt was made on his life.

The world believes that Inspector Clouseau has become the victim of Douvier, a drug lord who has blown the Inspector's home into a million pieces. Very much alive, however, Clouseau heads for Hong Kong with the drug lord's discarded mistress to investigate Douvier and a heroin deal worth 50 million francs. But can Clouseau intercept the deal? And can Dreyfus avoid killing his subordinate? Better question: Does he even want to?
